"Alexander Suvorov", Russian Wooden Nutcracker, nut1dd, 17.5"

This Nutcracker Figurine is carved out of one piece of bass wood log (dried during five years before the carver started his job.). He is shown in the military uniform of the General of Infantry, which we copied from the book about the military uniforms of the generals and officers of the Napoleon War of 1812. The Nutcracker's gown is painted by hand in acrylic paint and burned on wood through the magnifier. Every single black dot you see is burning. Gold leaf and pearls are added which make it even much more attractive and beautiful. It is the design of Alkota together with the painter Irina Kabulina who masterfully implemented its decoration. This Nutcracker is absolutely wonderful for Home Decor and can be really a statement!
It is 17" tall with the drum (14.5" tall without). The drum is made out of whole wood, or as a box, which can be opened. It is also painted with burning with a scene from the Nutcracker ballet with Mouse King in it.
