"Andrei Bogolubskiy", 10"H, s6f, Russian Genuine Wooden Collectible Santa with Samovar
This Santa is crafted by hand in the town of Sergiyev Posad, Russia (workshop "Viktor"): carved out of linden wood and painted in acrylic. The Santa figurine is decorated with intricately painted with scenes on it. Both of them - on the front and on the back- show worldly known Russian troika-three horses pulling a sled. Santa is holding a samovar in his hands. It is a centuries long tradition in Russia to take tea from the samovar. The tea prepared in samovar was offered to guests and strangers. With time samovar became a symbol of Russia and of Russian hospitality.
