"Pavel I", 15"H, nu12, Russian Unique Wooden Nutcracker
This Nutcracker Figurine is carved out of one piece of bass wood log (dried during five years before the carver started his job.). He is shown in the military uniform of the General of Infantry, which we copied from the book about the military uniforms of the generals and officers of the Napoleon War of 1812. The Nutcracker's gown is painted by hand in acrylic paint and burned on wood through the magnifier. Every single black dot you see is burning. Gold paint and pearls are added which make it even much more attractive and beautiful. It is the design of Alkota together with the painter Irina K. who masterfully implemented its decoration. The Nutcracker sword is carved out of one piece of wood.
It is 14.5-15"H" tall (with drum 17.5"-18"H). The drum is made out of whole wood, or as a box, which can be opened (another type not). It is decorated around with the Mouse King on it.
This is one of a 2019 series unique nutcrackers (all of them are historic characters - Emperors, Czars Dukes, Statesmen, Marshals) designed and created by Russian artists and Alkota. Since the process of carving and decorating is time consuming and we craft them one at a time you can order a piece of your preferance and we will make it for you first and then continue makiing other ones. It will take up to two months to get your order delivered to you.
