It is carved out of the best species of Tilia (linden wood-Amour type) and painted with acrylic and gouache and decorated with authentic gold leaf. The body of the Nutcracker is inlaid with 158 semi precious stones such as Garnet - 29, Pearl - 72, Ruby (Sardius) - 8, Amethyst- 13, Agate Pink - 12, Carnelian - 3, Tourmaline - 8, Coral - 8, Suzalit - 5.
