Unusual Carvings

     Russian wooden carvings we carry are really one-of-a kind pieces. They are of superb quality, made by the most experienced Russian carvers and decorated by Russian painters. If the shape of one or another carving is similar in the next work, the robe decoration is different. They are very rare, intricate, with wood burning technique involved. Some pieces have even inlays of semi precious stones in the wood texture in their robes. Some of the handmade carvings we offer represent known or famous Russian fairytale characters, for example a Snowmaiden, a grand daughter and a big helper of Russian Santa Claus Ded Moroz. Other carvings portray Russian village noble pairs, or young dating couples.
